A request by Fade22. Based on the Highlander series. - The story idea for this one is based on the animated Highlander series. In the far future following global wars and catastrophes, the immortals (or Jetteters) abandon their 'game' of decapitating each other in duels to gain the mystical 'prize' and band together to preserve the scattered remnants of mankind, taking an oath never to draw swords on each other again. However one of their number Kortan refuses the oath and murders many immortals, taking advantage of the chaos on Earth to build a tyrannical empire. Most of the surviving immortals have fled or been killed, but one goes into hiding, siring a girl in a secluded village. This girl Yukki appears to be of Japanese decent, but is actually of the proud line MacLeod, descended from Conner MacLeod, also known as The Highlander. Connor is still alive and he manages to track down Yukki just as her family and clan are destroyed in a raid by Kortan's 'hunters'. He trains her as a warrior and all the skills she will need to survive in the harsh war-ravaged world, long enough to defeat Kortan in battle and right the balance. To do so she needs to find the hidden immortals and gain their powers, either by their willing sacrifice to her or through force if the immortal refuses. She must also recover a weapon called The Sword of Eternity, the same everlasting weapon which has been known by the names Excaliber, Hrunting, and many others as it was passed from warrior to ...
